Primary 5B have been learning all about Space! Last week we studied the phases of the moon. We learned that a lunar calendar lasts 29.53 days. As the new moon begins its orbit and we see more and more of the moon, this is called waxing. After the moon gets to its full phase, we start to see less and less of the moon, this is called waning. We enjoyed learning about all the different phases and then worked in teams to create them using Oreo biscuits to represent each part!
