P7 end of year trip and Short News

June 24, 2014  |  News  |

It was a beautiful sunny day on Tuesday 17th of June. Primary 7 were chatting with excitement as we clambered on to a coach on our way to The Time Capsule.

Earlier that month the class voted to go to the Time Capsule for our last trip. The Time Capsule is a swimming pool which has a number of various slides and flumes. The building also includes an ice skating rink.

Once we had arrived, we wasted no time and slipped straight into our skating boots. Most of us were slipping and sliding across the ice but after a while, a majority of us were able to keep upright. Miss Lester and Mrs Moloney were surprisingly amazing at ice skating and were speedily gliding along the ice.

After all that tripping and tumbling, we changed and splashed into the pool. Everyone queued to go on the slides and rapid flumes. Adrenaline rushed through our bodies as we slid down the slides while getting spattered with water.

Everyone was glad that the Time Capsule was chosen as we had a tremendous trip out. From our great fundraising skills we were all able to go for FREE! By Mahnoor and Sophia P7
